Once at the parade staging area - last minute tasks must be performed in a short time.
"Drummer - what drummer? Who said anything about a drummer?"
The parade theme was "Golden Jubilee", and we tied in the 50th anniversary of Rock 'n' Roll to the float.
"It seems like we've been working on this thing for 50 years..."
Our hard work paid off - We won the Harry S. Orr Award!
The Buffalo Wings and beer afterward tasted so much better!
