Cast Berkshire County is blessed with a cadre of talented people who are willing to give up their time to perform in the Oldies But Goodies Rock 'n' Roll Show -
Residing in Pittsfield, Peggy is a mother of two grown daughters and is Letter Carrier with the United States Postal Service. Peggy is Director (she prefers "Coach") of the group and wears many hats - creation, production, logistics, staging, administration...and harmony. "I'm here to sing..." Cliff is an Information Technology professional and works at General Dynamics in Pittsfield. Once described as "Cliff will build it, Cliff will buy it, Cliff will design it...," Cliff is the Musical Director and band leader who plays guitar and sings, cracks jokes to keep the show going, builds sets, hauls gear, writes promotional material, and loves every minute of it. "I love these people, and I love what we do for the community." Jim lives in Pittsfield with his wife Barbara, and is an electrician (only gets his wires crossed once in a while!) and has sung and played in area bands for many years. Jim's varied roles as stage performer and keystone of the band on bass guitar keep him hopping - but he's quick with a one-liner always shows up with his batteries fully charged. Mark is the newest member of the group, and like Cliff, is an IT professional at General Dynamics. Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, Mark and his wife Dorothy have made the Berkshires their home, and along with the Oldies But Goodies, are active in their church and other community organizations. Pauline is our dear friend, stage helper, front end staff, and now joins us on stage - we call her our Morale Officer - she keeps our spirits up when the going gets tough. Elaine is an administrative assistant at St. Joseph's High School, and loves to sing, dance (mostly with Jim Rose!) and is deeply involved with the nitty gritty of putting together the show. We have a few more colorful nicknames for her, but we love her! Kimberly Enright Esposito Elaine convinced her daughter and now-son-in-law to join the group, and we're glad they did! The lovely couple have added much to our shows.
Always with a smile on her face, Sandy is one of those unsung singers who is a great person to have in our merry cast of characters. Mike joined our group last year - he is a retired analyst from General Electric, and also a long-time member of the Berkshire Hillsmen singing group. Not only can he sing up a storm, he's funny too! Some may recognize Dr. John (or not, because he often hides behind a mask - a surgical one!) but he keeps us on his rounds, singing and dancing being the "operative" word. In the the real world, John is Dr. John Kearns, MD, FACS, and we are glad he takes time out of his busy schedule to perform with us. Always ready to take whatever role is given him, Dave is a consummate performer with a voice and knack for pleasing the audience. Dave resides in Hinsdale with his wife Penny, and his daughters, and is a talented musician as well. Jane joined our crew a couple of years ago, and we're glad she's here. Always with a smile on her face, Jane is here to entertain. Donna has been doing shows since the original "Doo Wah Gang" way back when. Donna works for Kay-Bee Toys, and is married with grown children. The big guy with the even bigger voice, Charles has been with the Oldies Gang since the very first show. Always a crowd pleaser, Charles soulful voice and leaves a lasting impression. Charles is married and has three children. Jim also appears over in the crew section, and we won't repeat all the good stuff there - just add to it by saying "You da Man!!!" "Janini" is a talented, loving girl who puts in a superlative effort, whether it is singing, building sets (and floats) or working behind the scenes making things happen. Janine lives in Peru with her husband and son, and recently made a career move to join the staff at United Cerebral Palsy of Berkshire County. Congratulations! We love you... Bet Azar Kathi is a veteran of several other amateur performing groups, and loves to sing, loves to dance, and loves to deliver a punch line. Connie Chet is always good for a laugh - he keeps the the humor coming, and he's always working behind the scenes as well. Chet never met a power tool he didn't love... Cheryl Hover "Javi" has been with our group from the beginning and add his youthful enthusiasm, machismo, and good looks to the group. If there's a harmony part to be found, she'll find it! Michelle lends her voice to ensemble numbers, and when she can be coaxed into singing the lead, it's truly a beautiful thing.
